Req Help: Date and Time display

Please help if you can. Somehow I changed from displaying only the time in the upper right corner of my Axim to displaying the time AND date. I need to switch back and can not find the place where i did it in the first place.

I appreciate any help.

I didn't know it was possible to show the time and date in using
the normal menu bar interface.

Do you have ICbar or Wisbar installed?

If you do go to settings on the drop down ICbar menu (right
hand side) and select small date and time from the drop down
menu and uncheck the enable box. If you want the time to stay
there, select time from the drop down box and enable it.

hope it helps

Found this at http://www.phm.lu/PocketPC/RegTweaks/
Quote:
The Pocket PC display the time in the title bar, the user can select Analog or Digital using tap&hold on the time.
But some people also want the date to be easily available, this was actually available on Palm-size PC devices.
Fortunately there is a tweak to display both the date and time instead of time only in the Pocket PC title bar :

Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\
Create a binary value named "TBOpt" and set its value to "13 00 00 00".
Save any unsaved document and reset your Pocket PC.

ix - Thanks, I'll try to see if that will work.

I would post a screen shot if I knew how to actually take a screen shot.

I'm really a newbie.

BTW I did try WisBar, didnt like it and so un-installed it. I re-installed to see if that is how I set this darn thing, but can not find it.

IT WORKED!

My TBOpt was set to 3 (DWORD Hex)

I deleted the key and reset and the date was gone.

Thanks very much!

OK I did some playing around:

Setting the:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\
DWORD Value named TBOpt
DWORD 1 displays the time only
DWORD 2 displays date only
DWORD 3 Displays both
DWORD 4 Displays nothing

Looks like it starts the cycle over at 5

Have fun.

You have to soft reset each time to see the change.

:D

Thanks again for the solution to my annoying problem.
