Question What else should I buy.

Alright, well I think I am going to take the plunge and buy my friends 300mg/hz Axim for $100. If I don't find it useful I guess there is alway s EBAY. Know, I need to get some accessories. I am thinking about a CF wireless card for the wireless network at my school and a SD 128mb card. After some research I think this will cost me about $100. Are there any specific brands that I should look into or a website that has good prices. Also is the wireless foldup keyboard nessacary. I currently bring my dell lap top to many of my classes and would like to try and take notes on the Axim. Please Help. Thanks.

I have the Dell keyboard, not the little clip on one but the one that folds outs etc. It's great. You need to take it slow at first as the space bar is a little small but once you get used to it, it is classroom note-taking equipment for sure. I use it for meetings etc. and it's fine. Get the wireless puppy working and you'll be cooking!

Good luck. :D

I'd opt for the 256 meg SD instead. You''ll fill that 128 up faster than you think. Get some screen protectors and a good case if you're going to take it to school with you.

I've had very good luck with my Memorex SD card....they're all made in Japan so you don't have to worry about some of the problems that have been going on with Taiwanese and Chinese cards.

Sorry...can't speak to the keyboard...don't have one. I can say that Typango is really good as a software based keyboard though. I've gotten pretty quick on it for only being able to use my thumbs....about 50-60 words per minute.

Most major brands of CF WiFi cards are OK. Look for the best price. Some stores run them as cheap as $20 occasionally.

Buy any SD except Sandisk.

I don't find that I need a keyboard but you have to decide how much information you will be entering away from your PC.

I recommend getting one or more good cases and a screen protector, maybe a spare stylus. Also you will probably want to buy some software although there is a lot of good freeware available also.
