How do I connect to the net?
I want to be able to connect to the internet for e-mail and surfing. What do I need to do for this?
Do I just need a CF/Modem card?
Where do I go to subscribe to a service - does Sprint have this?
Thanks so much for your help!

I've been wondering myself, and the only options i can think of is with a wireless CF card, or a modem/ethernet CF card. If there is a way to connect to the net while it is in the cradle (through USB) that would be good, but I dont think USB has that kind of capabilities. I've been looking into getting a wireless router and wireless CF card and doing ICS through my main computer.

You can browse web, check email while it's in cradle (thru USB) as long as your computer can access the web.

You can use a Vision enabled Sprint PCS phone with a cable from gomadic.com. It works great and does not go against your minutes. It's unlimited surfing. I use the Sprint LG 5350 with the Gomadic cable and get acceptable performance using PPC 2002. From what I understand, PPC 2003 improves net surfing even better.

I prefer to connect thru wifi cf card. Alternative I use is Verizon Express Network with LG vx10 cell phone and gomadic.com cable. :)

Jer - So...If I get a Wifi card...I will be on line simply by going into IE in my Axim? I don't have to pay for the service like you do for a cell phone? (i.e., you can buy the phone but it is useless without Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, etc., right?)

If you get the WiFi CF card you'll need a WiFi router/gateway to connect to. Just like a NIC card in your PC needs a router/gateway/modem to connect to.
