Scratch on touch screen
I have scratched my touch screen - right in the middle of the letter recognizer - does anyone have any good ideas to remove the scratch without further damaging the screen?

How did you scratch it? Try a shamie (the kind they give you with the screen protectors) or a saturated alcohol pad. that won't remove a scratch but It'll remove anything that wasnt a scratch that you thought was a scratch. Ya know what I'm sayin?

I know there's a kinda spray on the market wich makes the screen of your telephone soft so you can make it look like new... I dont think this would work with your axim. Is it a big scratch? maybe you should look at the option of replacing your digitizer.

DON'T SPRAY ANYTHING! The amount that comes from a spray is way too much and can get under the digitizer between it and the display and cause all sorts of problems. One of the better ways to handle scratches is to put on a screen protector. THere are a couple that work well - WriteSHIELDS is one brand, Brando is another. Usually they cover the scratches so you can't see them, as well as protect against new ones.

If you decide to try one of the products mentioned above, spray it very lightly on a lint-free cloth and use the cloth to apply to the screen. The cloth should be essentially just misted, not wet.
