Question How to get an Icon on the today screen

Hi,
How do i do this?
Got a couple of little programs installed on my CF card.
When looking at the files using file explorer i can see the programs and their Icons.
Now when i look under start/programs or start/setting i can't see them.
Also, i use Pocket plus 1.2.3 and can't see them there either under today plug-in.

Any help greatly appreciated.
Gerard

You can create shortcuts, ..

Did you install them using Active sync?
if you did they should show up in the programs ...

Anyway I use a program called "Launcher" (In the downlaods section) with that you just copy shortcuts to the \launcher
directory and they show up on your today screen.

ya under pocket plus hit new in the bottom left corner. You can direct the program to what you want to have on your today screen. Kinda like tageting on your desktop.

Still can't get it.
The programs are copied across onto the CF card and put into the root directory of the CF card, also into a directory called Program Files. Still can"t see them in pocket PC123 or in start/programs.

The programs I am talking about do not have in install program and just need to be copied across to the Axim memory or CF card.

In both cases I cant see them.

I don't understand. Even tried a soft reset. No good.

Cheers

You can create shortcuts to your favorite programs. Use the File Explorer, find your program (in your CF Card folder), and tap and hold it, it will open a dialog. Select "Copy". Move to the folder "Windows\Start Menu\Program", then go to the bottom on the screen, and tap and hold where there is no existing item. Select "Paste as shortcut".

Now, you have a shortcut in your Programs folder, and you can use any trick to show it on your Today screen (I use Program Bar myself).

Thanks all
