I'm a palm convert and just got my dell 400mhz.

I am really confused about the Beaming. I want to beam some applications to an Ipaq but it looks like I need additional software (IR beam?). Everything I've found looks like it is just for files, contacts, address, etc.

If I do need some software, what do I need and where can I get it?

You could beam the cab if you have it. But there is now way to "package and beam" an installed application if that's what you mean. If it's a simple app with just an exe then beam the file but I guess with PPCs being slightly more complex than palms it's difficult.

I think I figured it out. I found the file in file explorer and then "right clicked" for the menu and found the beam function.

Is there an easier way than that? because I had a hard time finding the applications, they did not appear in the simple find function.

That may beam the exe file, but how are you planning on beaming the registry entries??
