I recently bought a 400MHZ Axim and noticed that when I go into the system menu and select memory/storage card, it tells me that my built-in storage has 21MB Free and 0 in use. Is that correct??

Yes, the built-in storage is the extra memory in your 48 Mb of ROM that is not used. It can be used to store your data and it is secure during a hard reset.

When backing up the device using ActiveSync, are the contents of the built-in storage backed up too?
