Question Converting from txt to lit formats

I looked at the rmr plug-in for Word, but it says it is for Word 2002. I have 97. Does anyone know if rmr works with Word 97? If not is there a program which will convert txt files to lit?
Thanks for the help.

I've installed the plug-in with Office 2000 and it works ok. Occasionally, it screws up the conversion and and the .lit file will have control codes, etc. in it. I simply re-run the conversion and everything is ok. I can't reliably duplicate this, but since it is intermittent, I haven't worried about it.

Haven't tried it on 97......

I like Mobipocket Publisher. It's not the most obvious solution, but it can generate tables of contents, for example, and can save books in .LIT format.
