Sh3 Arm Mips?

Warning super newb on the loose.

I wanted to download some software from tucows and it gave me three choices: SH3, ARM, and MIPS. I know I have a Xscale on my Axim X5 400mhz... but what does that mean in terms of SH3, ARM, and MIPS software compatibility?

Can I download any or is there a difference?

Yep. Download XScale and if there is no XScale use ARM.
