I downloaded pocket music and later removed it. When I look at mp3s through the file explorer, they don't have an association set to them. I can open them through WMP, but they are deemed mp3s.

Also how do you open a video file through WMP? WMP doesn't seem to recognize any video files. :(

Check out PocketTweak by Tillanosoft: http://www.tillanosoft.com. It allows you to set file associations (and tweak quite a few other interface options) via a Control Panel applet.
