Can't play mpeg files on media player

Does Media Player not have the codec for mpegs or am I just doing something wrong?
It plays on my desktop just not on the AXIM

i dont think windows media player plays mpegs

you're going to need pocket mvp (you can find it in the downloads section of this site if u are using pocket pc 2002)

if you are using pocket pc 2003 check out the mulitmedia forum and go to the encoding thread... you'll find a link for wm2003 there

You might be able to convert the mpeg file using windows media encoder. that will convert it into a WMV file that u can play in media player. U can download media encoder at the windows download website
