Hi there,

I just ordered the Axim 300MHz basic unit, not considering the fact it doesn't seem to come with a cradle (I find this really odd, but...). I was wondering if I should order the cradle, or does the basic unit come with some form of data transfer cable?

It should come with a USB sync cable, which will do the job just as well. It just isn't as pretty and won't charge an extra battery if you ordered one.

I bought the 400 model, which comes with a cradle, and also ordered the sync cable, as I'll be using my Axim heavily at the office. Because I often work on the Axim while I'm at my desk at home, I find myself using the cable much more often than the cradle anyway.

[COLOR=blue]I have the 300 and it comes with the USB sync cable and a seperate power supply and cable. It does everything the 400 does only it doesn't sit in a cradle. On my laptop I use the infrared port and no need for a cable.
