Question 1 More Time - Screen stops with Screen Protector!

Hi -

I read thru a ton of screen protector related threads but no answer (other then 'remove the protector'). So here's the problem:

1. i applied dell screen protector (strip and film removed, corners pointing upwards, tabs in the bezel)

2. when tapping the screen no more response whatsoever.

If I remove the protector everything is fine again.

What's the trick here, do I need to perform a hard reset (don't like those!) and re-align, or ...

Thanks!!

are you sure there isn't air between your protector and the screen, maybe you should wait a little till the protector is fully vacuüm.

You could try re-alining your screen or just try a diff screen protector.

I am sorry I don't have a full awnser for you.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

That is weird.. Have you tried any other protector? Also make sure all the corners are equal distance from the corners of the ax.. Good luck,

I've got those same crappy screen protectors. Try flipping the protector to its other side, or rotate it 180. That is what worked for me. Sometimes you just have to take it off, then put it back on. See if that helps.

What may be happening is that where the protector slips under the frame of the screen it is pressing on the screen. The Ax sees that as a continuous press and so it ignores anything else you do. Try a screen protector that doesn't slip under the frame - WriteShields or Brando.

Thanks all, it did improve. I expected instant results, but after it vacuumed (?) up it improved. Overall stylus/screen responsiveness and accuracy however is still way below normal. I realigned a few times, no difference. But...at least now I can make a choice!
