X50V Vs XDA STELLAR aka TYTN II MDA VARIO III HTC Kaiser V1615

Hi, I've had my Dell Axim X50v for nearly 2 years now. I bought it because of the high specs i.e. 128 ram 624 mhz and screen pixel 480x640.

I'm finding it awkward carrying a Phone and PDA around. But what I am finding even more awkward is finding a PDA Phone as good as the X50V.

I came across the XDA STELLAR aka TYTN II MDA VARIO III HTC Kaiser V1615

It seems like a good phone/pda.

Do u think it would be worth trading in my x50V for it???

Any other PDA Phones which are as good as the X50V (similar size)? or better than the TYTN II?

Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

THANKS

I have a Aaxim 51v and love it! And won't trade it for any thing. But I am also wondering if there is any thing out there that is as good AND a cell phone to boot? Because who knows I also so said the same thing about my Palm TX until I came across my AX! So I am curious to see what responses you get.

Hi m8.

Dunno why no1 on this forum has replied?

maybe nobody knows what a tytn 2 is???

Looks like the htc tytn 2 is the best mobile phone/PDA out there at the moment. What makes it better than the X50v is that it's got a keyboard with swivel screen (really attractive feature) and phone obviously.

but the screen display is only 240 x 320 which I've not really used so am not able to tell if that is really crap (movie quality rubbish????) as compared to 640 x 480 on X50v which is fantastic.

I think the tytn 2 screen is 2.8" as compared to dell 3.7"

BUT just when I was about to click buy it now on ebay for the tytn 2 I came across another pda phone.

This one is called E-Ten Glofiish X800 and the good thing about this phone is:

IT HAS 640X480 Screen Res. Processor speed 500mhz is also better than tytn 2. X50v is 624mhz.

The screen size is the same as HTX tytn 2 but it doesn't have the keyboard or swivel screen.

Oh yeah one drawback for E-ten x800 is that it only has 64mb RAM I'm not sure if that will reduce the PDA's speed drastically maybe some1 on the forum can suggest.

At the moment I feel like going for this E-ten Glofish phone.

Let me know if there are any others I could consider.

Thanks.

Ok Even Better. This is a new pda/phone which has jest been released and is soon to be released in the UK.

E-ten m800 is the same as e-ten x800 BUT it also has the Keyboard.

What more can u ask for?

The only thing again ram is only 64mb!

[I] forgot to mention that htc tyn2 and e-ten pda/phones come with built in GPS so no need for an external receiver.

Just when i thought I came across the perfect PDA/Phone I stumbled across the imate ultimate series!

Okay now these ARE THE BEST Pda phones out there.

of course your choice will differ on which model is better, but the specs are the same.

the Imate ultimate 9502 has the keyboard, phone, 640x480 display and 128 RAM. Screen size 2.8" 3.0 megapixel camera, Also a 1026x768 Output. Very stylish phone! Its due to be released soon.

I will update the post with any further findings.
