Question how to uninstall activesync?

I'm trying to de-install active-sync from my pc to start again with a clean installed axim, and a clean installed pc. Using add/remove software on active-sync the computer generates the message:
"The log file 'C:\program files\Microsoft ActiveSync\DeIsL1.isu' is not valid or the data has been corrupted. Uninstallation will not continue."
Does anyone have a sugestion on how to uninstall activesync manualy.

Any help is appriciated.

Greetings,
Herman. (sorry for any bad language; I'm dutch)

Hi Herman,

You want to uninstall active synch but it works fine right now? or does the same error occurs when using it. I would say you should delete the corrupted file, try to uninstall active synch again and reinstall it.

It's ofcourse more easier to just reinstall it and this probably make the file "good" again, wich means you can uninstall it.

Hope this helps, and please do not worry about your English, there are more Dutchies here, and our english ins't THAT bad!

Your English is just fine, don't worry about it.

Like Wannahave said, I would just reinstall the program. That way, if any files are missing or corrupted, they will just be replaced, which should get it working again.

Thanks guys.
I've reinstalled the originaly activesync 3.5 altough i had this upgraded to version 3.7. After the original installation i could uninstall the activesync application. I now have 3.5 again clean installed and i can connect to my axim and start activesync on the pc. (this wasn't possible anymore) The only thing i don't understand is that the name "pocket_pc" -the default axim name- is already in use according to the connection dialog. I've just changed the name and things are working again but somewhere is the "pocket_pc" installed.

Thanks again.
Herman.

It's not "installed" it's just configured. You should be able to open Activesync on the PC with the AX Not connected and under File/Delete Partnership see all the partnerships that exist.
