Which one you download depends on which reader you have installed. You might want to try a few of the readers to see which one you prefer. Most of them are free (because you have to buy the books), but the ones that aren't there are probably free demos.
I have a couple of beginner questions. I have long since lost my install CD and have changed computers a couple of times. #1 Can I download anything online to install to my new laptop? Do I need Outlook instead of Outlook Express to sync to my computer?
if like me you dont like outook, you still have to install it to synch contacts etc. Just set it up so it doesnt synch unless you request. You will of course have to use OE on your home comp for email, but i prefer that than splitting outlook on the two units.
OE wont synch to my aximx51v.
ANYONE know a program to convert .exe to cab? preferably free??? ;)
If you execute an EXE to install via ActiveSync, it should create a CAB file in the ActiveSync folders (even if the app doesn't complete installation).
I don't know if anyone has this scenario. I have a couple of SD cards because the x30 has limited storage and divi up the applications. I have music and common programs on one SD and movies and common applications on another.
The problem is when I exchange an SD I find problems with shortcuts etc. How would I go about making sure I don't have the headache of dissecting the links and using trial and error method??? Is there a program I could use to make sure the common programs share the same shortcut??? Do I simply copy the folder from one SD to another???

Where are the shortcuts? Do you mean the shortcuts within the program itself? For example, your playlists? If so, I don't think the program could be smart enough to create a different set of shortcuts for each card. If I am wrong, I hope someone corrects me!!!

Where did you download Opera from? You should choose the version that matches your OS:
If you choose version 8.65 (as an example), you can select either a CAB or a MSI file. MSI you run from your PC while connected to your device. CAB you copy over to your device and execute from there.
Double check where you are getting Google maps from. If you choose Windows Mobile from this page, you should get a CAB file:
Hi Chris Leckness, first I received your mail and I thankyou. Now I must to adapt myself to the new format of the site....I change my first Dell X30 for one X51, and Iīm going well, visiting the site for improvements.I apply the settings for fake server...but now I change my notebook for a Toshiba Satelite but I canīt sync with the PDA.I sent all the programs and data from the ancient COMPAQ to the Toshiba but something I did wrong and canīt sync, so I canīt charge or remove software and sync the files.Any help is wellcome.
