I have studied the dell axim x51v for along time. I am longing for one. Where can I get one that works well and is cheap!

P.S. Has anyone used amazon before? Do the items come like you bought them from the store?

Used axims are sometimes for sale on this site - just pay attention to the new posts.

If you're in a hurry then I think you should try eBay.
The X51v is a nice item, but if a low cost is mandatory then look for a X50v - as I did.

x50's run WM2005 and the x51's run WM5

The x51's also have more memory.

Wdement is correct except for that nothing much more but some fine tuning in the WiFi area.

If you have the money - I'd go with the x51v. Those of us with older models on WM2003 won't be able to use the newer software.

However, if what's out there in software more than meets your needs, then go with the x50v.

Just my opinion.

I got both the X51v and the X50v which I actually prefer to use.
In my opinion the X50v works just fine on wifi and somehow I like the WM2003SE better - it's somewhat faster and more stable.

But the reason for suggesting the X50v is mainly - cost :approve:

X50v is much cheaper. I got my X50v, with a buttload of accessories, for $150 shipped. The main difference between the two is 128mb of ROM and WM5. I am running WM6, but I am not telling you how I got it :)
