How do I delete an outlook account?

I'm running WM 5 on an x51v, and I can't seem to figure out how to delete email accounts in outlook. :rolling:

If the messaging account is one you created, you can delete it by opening up the mesaging application, select Menu > Tools > Options.

Press & hold your stylus on the account you wish to delete until you see a small popup menu, select Delete.

... and you can't delete the Outlook email account on your ax - only the ones you've created yourself as said by Julie

Thanks -- I was looking all over for this information.

So if I have been using the outlook account and it has a few hundred messages in it, what would be the best way to clear it out and remove the settings?

I don't know the full answer to that one - but you should know that on your Axim all your emails messages are stored under \windows\messaging

Delete those files and all emails are gone !

First you will need to remove the Sync of Outlook in Active Sync on your PC, if you have that set up.

Then in messaging/menu/tools/options you will find the accounts.
You can remove the setting there.
