So being 45X apparently Newegg.com - Transcend 4GB Secure Digital (SD) Flash Card Model TS4GSDC - Flash Memory won't work in an X5, or the last 3gb won't be addressable?

When did that become so cheap?

Back to the question, i think the x5 can only work with 1 or 2gb cards. Im thinking its 1gb. The x5 can only be upgraded to wm2003 the first edition, where the x30s and x50s come with wm2003se, so thats why they can support 4gb.

It's not 4gb, but I needed something to put maps on and I was driving by Microcenter so I bought this HP L1877A 2gb which has no speed rating on it anywhere(there's another thread in here that says that X5's can use > 1gb if the card is faster than 40x) Anyway the card was $7.99 B&M and while I haven't put more than a gig on it, the X5 shows 1900 mb on there, and if I understand correctly, you will only see 1 gig when this problem occurs.
