Congratulations on your first post, cervri :approve:

Set your Palm up to sync with Outlook (not the Express version)

First sync everything on your Palm to Outlook then sync everything to your axim.

It's a while ago but it did work for me !

Feel free to ask again

Welcome to the AximSite - I'm sure you'll enjoy - :)

If you haven't done so already you will also have to install MS ActiveSync 4.x before you can sync Outlook to your x51v. If you got the cd with your pda it is on there if not you can get it free on the microsoft site. the latest i think is 4.5. follow the install instruction and it should work fine as Zaniax said. The biggest trick to make it work is to be sure not to connect the pda until the software tells you to. Good luck and welcome to the site...

For what ever reason whenever I sync the palm, it's not getting to outlook.

I do not see the option anywhere to sync with outlook.

I cannot believe this could be that difficult.

I reinstalled the Palm Desktop and saw no options for outlook.

On my old Palm One setup I have two icons called 'PIM conduit sync' which points to
C:\Palm\OutlookSwitcher.exe /Outlook and
C:\Palm\OutlookSwitcher.exe /Palm respectively

Make sure you're using the plain Outlook and not the Express version

Tell us your progress :)

Done with Outlook......

Thanks for the help through..
Chuck.

On to the next project, Getting the Axim Wifi to work....It see's my router but won't connect. Just sets there saying that it is connecting. (Never does).

Try Start/Settings/Connections/Dell WLAN/Setting and set
"My network card connects to:" to the WORK setting.

Look at the Check these first part of the Troubleshooting section of the WiFi Guide.

AFAIK, Outlook is still the only thing you can easily set up for syncing with the PIM data on a PPC. Maybe some one else knows another way.

If you don't know how to click on an icon called 'PIM conduit sync' then - like you - I give up

Good luck ...
