Did you try this yet?

Miniscule howto:
* Go to Start-settings-connections
* Click Network Cards
* Choose your WLAN wireless Adapter and click Edit
* Choose the Name servers tab and change DNS to 192.168.1.1 (or what your router get from your ISP).

Also: Does the router work with other computers?

Just tried it. good strong green bars and the "The page connot be found." message. I seem to be able to connect with the router, just can access the internet via the wireless. I know it must be something very simple I am over looking ....
Thanks though. And if you have any other suggestions, I am all ears. I have been working on this problem for hours on end now. :(

I just posted this in another thread with what appears to be the same problem. I suggest you try the same:

Do not enable any security and try to connect the Axim.

I have the wrt54g and x51v. They are talking to each other fine. Have you tried pinging your router or the ax?

I will give that a try. This morning I did a reset to factory defaults on the site and then did a rest on my router, removed all the network connections from my Axim, going to let the router sit for a few minutes then, start all over.

Hi Rich,
Can you 'walk' me through your set up? I am using a Intel 2200 internal DSL modem which "tech support" at my ISP says I should upgrade to an external modem such as the Actiontec offered by Qwest or something similar. I do not understand how I can connect to my ISP via DSL, surf and do what ever else I need to do, and not connect via wireless (Page cannot be found message all the time now) simply because of the modem. Any suggestions or insights? Would be most appreciated.

This morning I did a reset to factory defaults on the site and then did a rest on my router, removed all the network connections from my Axim, going to let the router sit for a few minutes then, start all over.

Thanks for your help.

Ok, I am able to connect, renew IP addy and receive reply to pinging. However, whenever I try to load a web page, says web page cannot be found and the other PC I have on wireless IE says it cannot load page. Strange.
