x51v question on ram

Hi all, is it possible to get more ram out of the x51v ? any comments welcome.

Yes you can send it to PPC Techs and they will bump it to 128mb.
Keep your Ax cleaned up with MemMaid,use sd & cf cards to store
programs,cookies and caches,I have usually 172mb of storage and
32mb of program space availiable.

thanks for the reply, at mo i have 2gb sd card, 190.50 of storage, 256mb rom , 52.42 program and 64mb ram, would i see a great difference in speed if i upgraded the ram? also what sort of money would i be looking at?

Yes I have 2gb SD and 2gb CF cards installed,the other figures
are the standard installed but if you do Start/Settings/System/
Memory you will see the reality overhead memory useage.

The charges are discussed here on the forum as well as the pros/cons
I suggest you goto their site at the top of this screen and check it out
first hand as I have not had it done myself.

The RAM upgrade is $169 but I would put that towards a new device but that is just me.
