Well, for me, I just pulled the flash card out of the Digital Camera and put it into my Axim, and there were my pics.:D

I think the other way with out a flash card is to get a smart media reader/writer. I think that should work. Just my thoughts.

There are many adapters to use other styles of media cards in the CF slot.

Sorry, but an off-topic question related to memory cards and digital cameras:

Do the CF adapters fit into digital cameras too? I have old smartmedia cards that I would like to use in the Axim using an adapter. Could this type of adapter also be used on digital cameras that uses CF instead of Smartmedia?

Thanks.

I don't know. It seems like it should work. The real problem might be size ... if the media-adapter combo would stick out farther, perhaps preventing a cover door on the camera from closing.

I chose a Kodak digital camera because I could use the 30Mb CF card I bought for my Psion 5. When I switched to a Pocket PC I chose a Casio because I could use the 64Mb CF card I bought for the Kodak camera. And when the Casio died I chose an Axim as it could use the 256Mb CF card I bought for the Casio.

The moral is; if you already have a digital device that uses memory cards remember that when you go looking for another. If you don’t then it will cost you money for new cards or adaptors.
