Backing up X50v

I have had my X50v for a few years now but I don't think I have ever backed it up!

How do you do this and how do you re-load settings and applications after you install a new ROM? Thanks a bunch!

I have Sprite Backup, Spb Backup and Sktools Backup. I downloaded Resco Backup to try it out, too. See the page on my website about backups for more information.

However, I do not recommend using a backup to restore after a ROM upgrade; I would reinstall each application.

What you can do is to save the settings of each application for subsequent importation after the application is reinstalled. That can save quite a bit of time.

Those are all very good programs. I use sbp backup myself. If you don't want to buy a program, ActiveSync has a backup function under the Tools option.

Another vote for spb...but like aka said...reinstall after a rom update. Otherwise daily backups are a handy thing to have :approve:

SPB backup works great and the price is good. The built in backup utility works fine for most people.
