Mad Not enough memory to complete this operation; why?

#if this has been discussed somewhere, please just give me a pointer

The subject is what I found on the screen as error message when I tried to edit Notes in Calender. What I did was to copy a part of my text and to paste it somewhere else.

I checked Memory in System. Total is 63.54 MB. For Program, Free area is 35.46MB, therefore, I assumed that there's enough memory...

Why can't I copy and paste????

I also wonder if I should save the data relevant to Outlook (i.e., Calender and appointment, email etc.) to my SD memory, if they may become large in size. Can I specify where these information goes in my AXIM?

Thank you very much for your help. If you are on the east coast, just be safe (though I don't know how to

Actually, what I am doing is to copy 4 or 5 words. At least, this is what I think I am doing.

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, there is nothing running other than Calender.

I found one thing; This problem occurs only in the schedule TODAY. What is difference in TODAY, 09/18/03? I have already pasted relatively long summary of each speaker in the meeting in Note today. This was originally edited in Outlook on my PC, then synchronized. I can add any comments after this summary, but cannot copy and paste. After I copied several words in Note today, I noticed that I could paste them in Note other days.

This means that probably there is some limit in size (of texts) within one day to enable AXIM to copy and paste. This is just my guess. I cannot explain why...
