Hi, I am new of using the AXIM x51 and I bought a new SDW-821 (11b/g card ) for my Axim x51. But it seems not working.
Any one knows if there any possibility to use this wireless card with my AXIM ?

At least one user successfully used the SDW-820 card in their X51 so I imagine this one will work too. Did you install the drivers for WM5? They are available from Spectec's website. The top file appears to be the one you want.

Yes, I tried to install the drivers, but nothing happend, the palm does not detect the wireless card. It said "unrecognised card". is using windows mobile 5.0.
I think the problem is that it is SDW-821 (11b/g card ) and not a SDW-820.
But I least, I would like to make it run as a 11b card.
The card it was quite expensive but now I really I am worry that I could not
make it work at all.

Yes, I know the 821 is not the 820 but the fact that a user with an 820 had it working (with the correct drivers) makes me believe the 821 would also work (again, with its correct drivers).

You said you 'tried to install the drivers but nothing happened.' The card will not work until the drivers are installed. The download on the Spectec site is a CAB file and these need to be copied to the Axim (not a palm, BTW) and executed there. The device will give you an indication that the installation is occurring (usually with a warning about the program and a question for whether you want it installed in the default location, which is where I recommend you do the install). You should execute the CAB without the WiFi card being in the device. After the install, do a soft reset and then insert the card.
