alright, I am a new axim x50 user, theres a few thing i would like but can't find.
1) a free good remote control software for my tv, dvd, vcr etc
2) today plugins. mine is really bare and it fells empty :D o few good recommended plugins would be nice.
3) Some recommended application's for new users.
4) How do i keep IMOV from logging off after so much time? id like to leave it on all the time to IM and chat ( its pluged in ).

if you can answer these for me that would be a big help. and no trials please :)

I've never used remote control software, so I don't know if I can help, but did you check the stickied posts at the beginning of the applications forum? There are a couple of really excellent lists of free software there. stormloader mentions a trial (something you said you didn't want, but there it is anyway!) of a remote control program in the newbies thread.

Your choices of software and today plug-ins depend greatly on your uses and needs.Have you looked at Gigi's "What Can I do with my Axim" tutorial? It can give you great ideas for many of your questions. So too can the MyPDA listings of many of the old hands here. Their descriptions of software, uses, and favorites can give you great ideas. Right now I use only pocket breeze as a today plug in, and through its tabs I can get to everything else. It works nicely for me, but it is simply a preference.
