I have a new (to me) but old X30 with rom 00. I see there are 3 rom updates at the dell site. 02, 05 and 06. I've noticed messages of complaints of 06 in particular but I'm guessing that's because it is the more recent one.

Should I update these in order of age: 02, 05 and then 06? or can I just upgate straight to 06? Or, because of the complaints, should I just do 02 and 05 and stop? Or just 05 and stop?

Hi.
Yes, you can go directly to A06. Just download the installer and follow instructions given.

All A06 does is an Bluetooth and wi-fi update. If you don't use those, you can just upgrade to A05.

Be wary of going to 06 with the X30.

Most people found that the upgrade wasn't worth the trouble it caused.

The X30 was very stable with the original OS and generally didn't gain a great deal from the upgrades.
