battery drain problem and other things

play a game or movie on my dell axim x51v for up to two hours.
battery at 100% when done battery at 50%
battery is a dell li -ion listed acessory (e204007?)
registered 207934
cant quite make out the numbers or letters anyways a big square battery that makes the back bulge out of the pda not slim one.

my system info is
processor type intel pxa270
processor speed 624 mhz
ram size 64 mb
rom size 256 mb
rom version ao6 (12190500)

what does all of this have to do with major battery drain?
is it the battery or is it the rom draining battery power?
someone here somewhere mentioned some roms drain power i read here somewhere.

also i dropped my pda onto concrete, no marks or breakage of pda itself, but
the touch stick for the screen broke off inside the pda slot.
how do you get it out? and where do you get new ones.
been using my finger since then.

does anyone have a problem where if you push down on the control button, like you do when you turn a page your pda turns off. you turn it back on and the turned itself off to protect itself because battery latch was opened comes on.

this has happened since before the drop also by at least 4 months.
it does it occasionally but not all the time. just very annoying when you are in the middle of reading a story and the pda turns itself off.

all the questions i can think of for right now.
thanks in advance to anyone who can give me some advice on these problems.
