Any way to clear the Bluetooth connection cache?

I distribute an Axim with a robot that I manufacture and use it for controlling the robot by Bluetooth. I test the Axim before I send it out and in that test I connect to the Bluetooth radio in the robot. But when the customer gets it, they often have problems because the Bluetooth Browser, which shows all the local devices, also shows the device that I tested with. The customer often selects that device and can't connect, prompting a service call. I would like to find a way to clear the cache of connections before I send out the PDA. Is there any way to do that?

If you mean on the Axim,
go to BT settings/devices and remove the device.

But if you mean on the Robot..............no idea.

On the Axim. Axim X30. Sorry, there is no Devices tab or Devices selection anywhere that I can find on the X30. There is no list of devices or connections anywhere on the PDA except in the Bluetooth Browser window that appears when my program attempts to open the output port. Then the Bluetooth Browser screen display connections for devices that are not turned on and even for devices that are in another state.

It appears that simply doing a soft reset does the trick!

No, tapping and holding the connection does not bring up a context menu at all. The little circle of dots appears for a second then nothing. But as I said in my earlier post, soft reset clears the cache.
