Advice with x51

hi all just after a bit of advice really. Sadly i got burgled 3 weeks ago and my dell x5 got stolen. As dell dont make this anymore, the insurance are paying me cash to replace it (£195)

I have seen on ebay thankfully the X51v for sale at £120 and i think id be a fool not to have this instead of the x5, as i understand this has wifi built in which i didnt have before. The question id like to ask is that seeing as the axim51 is newer, what can be added to it, but more importantly i have read somewhere that windows 6 can be put onto the x51v.

If this is the case, how would i update the software, should i do it, or simply buy a blackberry or other pda??

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

The X51v is a very good PDA and yes you can upgrade it to WM6.1.
If you want a blackberry then get a blackberry, they are very different things.

Personally I use my X51v all the time, but I also have an HTC 7500 that I use as much.

It pretty much depends on what you use it for.

As to upgrading it, ask the question again once you have it, it's quite simple but not worth telling you about here unless you have one.

Agree with Box.
x51v is a PDA, no phone or texting by default.
Blackberry Storm looks good :)

If windows mobile 6 is your priority I'd look seriously into some of the HP PPC's. They've gotten some good reviews. If you like windows 5 the axim x51v is a great device. If your the tech type get x51v and stuff mobile 6 in there. HP also has warranty service which is nice.

Go Axim!!!

Yea double post:

I know what all you axim x51v mobile 6 users will say but why buy a brand new ppc and then install a non recommened rom. I'd go with the new line of HP. Dell RIP.
