Agere Wireless LAN CF Card FOR AXIM 5.

Hello, I've been searching for some help in installing a new wireless card I just received from Hong Kong, and can't seem to locate specifically what I need. The card was at a great price! $8 and $12 air parcel post. A CD came with the card with what promises to be drivers but since it has so many files I can't decipher which ones to install. Like under the XP file on the CD I have
agere and agere.rar. Under agere folder, I have windows-agere, and it goes on to multiple levels. I tried to execute some of the set up files with the Active Synch on and working with the AXIM 5 but that's a none starter so far.

It goes without saying that I would appreciate any help, and if I get it going promise to document it for the Axim Site.

RAR is a file compresser similar to WinZip. You will need to download WinRAR to be able to decompress the files. I read that in a forum and I suppose that is of no help to you at all.

You probably don't want files from the XP folder since that's likely for its use on a PC.

If there is no PPC or Windows Mobile folders, I think your best bet is try the Intersil reference drivers, most easily installed with the Perfect Prism utility. I'm on my Axim at the moment so I cannot give you a direct link but there is one in the WiFi FAQ linked from my signature or you can search for it in the forums.
