Hi Guys

Just got an X51v off eBay. It's running A06 (12190500).

Before I load anything onto it, I plan to upgrade to Lenny's highly recommended L11 WM6.1.

Do I have to upgrade the existing Dell ROM first, or can I install L11 straight over the existing configuration?

No need to upgrade. L11 goes straight on.

I beg to differ. Dell's A12 uses to a different bootloader than A06. So you need to install it before flashing L11.

I took johnhu's advice and first upgraded to A12 from the Dell site and then flashed to Lenny's L11.

All went smoothly, and I'm now looking for software to load on my whizzy new Axim!
