At one of my locations I have Microsoft office/Vista and no problems.
At my other location 2000/no Office when I try to sync I get

red ! on sync icon
"Inbox attention required"
"Some Items cannot be synchronised"

Am I missing some software? What do I need to do?

You need to have outlook for the sync to work.
