I recently got a Dell Axim X5 with 64 MB. I got an 802.11b wifi card sent to me. I'm trying to figure out how to pick up a wireless signal so I can connect to the internet. The Axim seems to want me to input a phone number to dial up the internet, but I'm trying to connect to a wifi network in my home. What are the next steps that I should take? Any advise would be appreciated.

Have you installed the drivers for the Wifi Card?
Does the Axim recognise the card?
Does the card appear to activate? Do you get a flashing light?
If it asking for a phone number it is trying to use the wrong settings.
What type of card is it?
You need to install the correct drivers for the card and then you should be able to turn the Wifi on and connect.
Look on the manufacturers website for drivers.
