Hi, I found a thread that says the problem of "Sync status is on device" was due to a tick in the server box in AS, I have been all over AS and it askes for a server name and password. As this syncs with my Home PC, I have never had a password, and it used to sync callender and contacts automatically. Can anyone help?

If you are using AS 4.x:

Disconnect your Pocket PC from your PC.
In ActiveSync go Tools-Options and select the Sync Options tab
Remove the checkmark in the box next to "Enable Syncronization with a Server"
