Shortcut to Connections Help??

Is there any way to set up a shortcut on the "Start Page" or set up a button so I don't have to tap 6 times from the Start page to get to my "connect" screen? fyi - I'm using WM5 and using this for data connections. I'm using a Dell Axim X51v but have 15 refrigeration technicians using a Recon PDA using WM5.

Thanks for any help.

I use iLauncher from SBSH software - its a good organiser for Windows Mobile control funtions. You can set up new menus and put any application or control function (shortcuts) you want on there.... so you can add Connectios as a menu item to your today screen, or like me, put it on the Task Manager tab. That one presents itself when you touch and hold the top right corner of the screen. There are other options to attach shortcuts to buttons, and other place on the screen.

You'll find the product and a trial version at Software for Windows Mobile Pocket PC: iLauncher - SBSH Mobile Software

I would think your purpose for reaching connections is to turn on/off Bluetooth or Wi-fi. In that case, download this:

LennySh_Wireless_Power.cab - Windows Live

(I uploaded to my Skydrive because you would have to register to download)

As of the Recon, do you mean the Trimble Recon?

Yes it is a yellow Trimble Recon. (very rugged) Were upgrading to a "Nomad" version. The older model had an "X" at the top of the screen and the tech's could tap on that "X" and the PDA would connect to our middleware via bluetooth and their holstered Sprint Nextel phone and then they enter their ticket data and go to work.

I'm recently cleaned out my Dell x51v. I had SBSH on their before and forgot about that. Guess thats what forums are all about. Getting that light bulb to go off... I'll try loading that back up and see if that shortens thing up for me.

Thanks for the help.
