Dissatisfied with Pocket Internet Explorer

I'd like to be able to save pages on my desktop, then transfer them to my axim x5. When I attempt to do this PIE won't open them. Is there a workaround or is there a better program to open web pages?

A lot of people either choose the opera mobile or netfront instead of pie for browsing.

I would recommend Opera, also. They stopped supporting anything older than wm5, but their version 8.65 works great on my 2003se device, and if you have wm2003 it should work on your x5, not sure about wm2002, though.

I am pretty disappointed with PIE, saving web pages can't be done and sometimes the screen gets a white noise pattern like a tv without a signal. I have heard good things about Opera mobile over the years.
I thought Opera mobile cost money but the download looks free.:scratch_h

Oh ok, yes I did, thanks Box. It's $24 after the free trial.

I think Opera 9.51b2 is free. Probably because it's a beta.

You can read them on your Axim using Mobipocket (free).

Except for some minor issues I'm quite satisfied with my PIEplus
.
I don't store whole pages but very often I view internet pictures.
Have a look here

.

Since I don't use my AX on the WEB very much, PIE+ works fine for me. :)
