I have haerd that it is possible to connect to the internet useing your phone over bluetooth. How would i go about doing this? I have a dell axim x51v and a lg 8300 from verizon.

Yes, this is possible provided that Verizon allows you to do so. To get an idea of how to go about this, take a look at this tutorial:

It's a bit dated, but at least it gives you an idea as the steps involved. You might also have to check the settings specific to Verizon to get it to work.
