Axim X51v ROM update or not? How to reinstall Windows?

I bought the other day the X51v from ebay. The PDA is great but there are some issues with it. I wonder if those are because of the the former owner.

I have trouble running some applications. Some just won't run, just crash. No idea why...
Skype will not work properly either, it seems that there is a font missing. All characters are displayed as boxes. Skype works, I can make calls and receive calls. Just the GUI is messed up.

There are also strange keyboards installed such as Czech, Finnish, French, Polish, ..... keyboards. They show up under "Remove programs" as LingoSoft Keyboards. It won't let me uninstall them though.

So the big question is: HOW DO I RESET THE PDA TO IT'S ORIGINAL STATE? Kinda reinstall Windows. The PDA has ROM version A12 installed.

I checked out at Dell the updates but did not see a full image. All files are just around a few hundred kBs, that can't be it.

Hold the power button down and press the reset hole in the back then follow the on screen instructions.

This will wipe everything and take it back to original.

So if there is anything you want to keep you need to back it up.

That worked. I reinstalled all my apps and everything runs much better now.
