Dell Axim x51 - J2ME

Hello there I'm new to Pocket PCs and I've been trying for days to set up J2me on my Dell Axim, As I have come across a game I would like to try out but it requires J2ME to play the game I believe. (Tibiame)

I have put loads of J2ME programs on the Axim and testing if it works but I have had some close success for example with IBM J9 Midp I got it set up on the Axim but when I tried launching the game it did nothing.

Does anyone know of a J2ME that works on the Dell Axim x51 and if it works well I wouldn't mind paying for the program?

Regards

I have IBM j9 up and running on my 51v however it would not operate
properly until I added JSR75(file connect) now it runs all java script.

JSR-75 can be found in "fc-for-j9" just google.

My IBM J9 implemation was found under"WEME-MIDP20EN-572"

Interesting, Ive got IBM J9 installed. I found the ''Fc for j9'' and do I just put the files from it inside the ''bin'' and ''lib'' folders?

If so I tried that but no changes on running J2me games, I Can get it downloaded but when it comes to launching it , it does nothing.

''My IBM J9 implementation was found under"WEME-MIDP20EN-572" Is this the version of IBM J9 you are running? If so where did you obtain it from as I am not certain on the IBM J9 version im using.

Thanks

I tried to find out where I got WEME-MIDP20EN-572 and I thought I bookmarked it.
Worst case sceneario is I could send it to you via email as attachment.
Getting back to how it's installed I thought I would take screenshots
in TotalCommander to show you how it's on my 51v.I guessed that
would be easier then me explaining it,anyway lets try it.Hopefully it's
not too confusing,I may have taken dup shots.

I hope I don't get groused at for all these but here's the last.
You can see by following the directory parsing at the top what
seems to go where.I spent a week getting it to work with TrekBuddy
java app gps system and although I have had a computer of one type
or another since the early '70s at 68 yrs old the gray matter needs time to
absorb evrything thrown at it.lol
