any help welcome, I've got 2 axims , one works great apart from the screen alignment fault ( connects to the computer via the cradle ok) , the other has a perfect screen and has no wifi and has stopped connecting to the computer , ie the desktop does not see it.
The os is vista prem' 64 , as the older x50 works ok I can only guess its the new-ish one thats at fault . Is there anyway to re-install the os ( mobile 5 ) or other , as I don't have any cds with it. Or is there a work around to get this to work !. Many thanks Patrick.

A hard reset will reinstall the OS.

Hold the power button and press the reset button on the back.

I assume you have already tried a soft reset.

Be aware this will wipe all your data and any programs you have installed.
Make sure you back up everything and have all the necessary registration codes etc
Making a backup at this point and restoring it may also restore the problem.

Thanks , have tried this and still no luck , begining to think it maybe a connection fault, ie , a faulty pin ?. the wlan and odyssey icons still do not appear so don't know whats up there !.
