hi all,

i been searching high and low for this software. is there any bluetooth remote software??

i want to use my touch pro to remotely control my x51v via bt. is there such software?

google return onli wifi or internet...thanks in advance

I don't think that Bluetooth has such a service from controlling one Pocket PC with another SmartPhone.

You would need a higher bandwidth (Bluetooth is relatively slow) for synchronizing the screen from one device to another. That is why Wi-Fi or USB does a great job at these things.

thanks for the answer. you are right..bt is rather slow on the bandwidth....

do you think it is possible for me to sync this 2 pda via wifi? i remember i sync wifi with an laptop before. it works. i wonder does it apply the same setup?

I'm curious, I have never use Remote Desktop with two mobile devices... You will be my "Guinea Pig"

1. Download the Remote Desktop .cab and install it on both devices.

2. Connect both devices onto a local Wi-Fi network

3. Find the IP address of both devices (Use the DHCP client table on your router if you have to)

4. Connect from your HTC Touch Pro (Using the Axim's IP) and try it out.

haha thanks for the cab file. i tried running that....however i face a problem with the login authentication.

i get the "connect error" if i just enter the ip address without any user name.

Ah, I forgot that it needed username/password. Windows Mobile does not utilize that. So there would be no way for it to work.

Maybe some other members can provide some ideas.
