RTSP support for Windows Mobile 2003?

I have a Dell Axim X30 (running Windows Mobile 2003). I know I need to have a player that supports RTSP protocol to watch videos on m.nbc.com. Anybody able to do this? If so, please tell me what and how to install the player. Thanks!

Coreplayer has support for RTSP. To open a video, you need to know its URL. Then it should be file-->Open URL.

Unfortunately, it is not free... :(

John, you mentioned Coreplayer, but does TCPMP also have that ability?

Check out the following for RTSP viewer:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1635261

I've got it installed on my X51v running WM5. The clips on m.nbc.com are tiny, as if they are designed to be viewed on cell phones w/ small screens. Anyway, I didn't have any problem viewing those clips.

I installed Coreplayer and attempted to play a video on m.nbc.com by copying and pasting its rtsp url in full and click OK. But I got an 'unauthorized request' error message. Would someone please post an exact URL of a video on that website that works on his/her device for me to try. This way I can eliminate the URL as the problem. Perhaps my Dell Axim X30 won't work with m.nbc.com videos. Thanks!

The movies/clips on m.nbc.com are in .mov format.

.mov is a container which could contain different codecs. I suspect the videos are a codec that Coreplayer cannot play.

I also cannot play them on Coreplayer on WM6.5 and WM6.1. So you are not the only one.

The only workaround is to download them on your desktop. Convert them to a container format like .wmv or .avi. Then transfer them to Coreplayer to play.
