Since the member list is disabled here and I can't find an existing group for X50 ONLY I'm starting this thread looking for X50 users (I hope it's in the right forum).

If you currently own or have used in the past a Dell Axim X50 please identify yourself here, thanks. (If you have a X50v, the "v" is for VGA as opposed to X50 which is QVGA and this is for X50 owners)

I'm trying to find all the information I can currently relevant to my specific device which is a Dell Axim X50 (a QVGA not a VGA aka X50v). I'd like to connect the X50 users or at least view their threads specifically since there is a significant amount relevant to the other three similar versions in the forums (X50v, X51, and X51v) that is incompatible for the X50 QVGA so I'm trying to help us X50 owners to know what is what.:approve:

I've spent alot of time searching for info on the web only to find out it's sometimes difficult to tell what applies and what is out of date without reading through five years of threads and postings on several sites.

Those that own X50v,X51, or X51v are welcome to post useful info and links about the model which came before them (the X50 non VGA) but I'm mostly looking for first hand experience and not "what should, could, would work". Thanks

Id be glad to help you out. I have an x50 mid, the 520mhz version.

Although i dont use it as much today, i used it all the time a few years ago and i know a lot of tricks and tweaks, etc for it.

Since there are so many things you can do with it, fire away a question and then ill post the answer.

I think you'll find most of the ppl in the x50/x51 threads will be glad to answer your questions, even if they've been asked before. :)

I do agree it's a pain to search thru years of threads looking for an answer. :(

BTW - I have both a x50 low and mid and I still use them eveyday. :)
