I would very much like to be able to use Skype on my x50v. I am told the new version on the skype mwebsite won't work. Can anybody who has done it on one of these tell me what to bo (for a newbie) and where to get it or send it to me?

I found my answer online by downloading skype 2.2.0.18 beta at Smart Hacks.
I am now using my skype as an unlimited phone in US/Canada for $2.95/mo.!!! Highly recommended and a piece of cake once you have that download.

I used to use the old skype back in the day on my x50. Of course it was back when skype was free to call people. It was great for prank calls. LOL!
