installation help needed - microsoft eMbedded visual basic runtime

d/l this from the microsoft website coz some progs need it to run but stumped by the installation instructions. can some nice person pls pls pls teach me how to do it step by step in simple english? thanx (^_^)

you should just be able to tap on the file and it will star to install. Make sure this is a cab file (.CAB) If it doesn't work then it is a corupted file and you need to downloaded it. again.
Also cab files need to be installed from thr ppc itself. you cannot install them from the desktop. so send it to 'my device' and tap it from ppc.

Hey gizmox5,

Thanks for the pointers. I downloaded onto my laptop as I had a hard time doing so to my X50V. I placed the program into 'my device' and tapped on it. The programs work. I have had my X50V for about three months and I am now getting my feet wet with useful programs.
