Mad Messenger UPdate !!

Microsoft has updated the MSN Messenger Service to ensure that our customers have the latest security and privacy protections. This change requires Windows Mobile-based device users to use updated MSN Messenger software in order to connect to the Service as of October 15, 2003.

I have the same damned problem. It won't let me log in to the network b/c of some compatibility problem. Damned microsoft!!!

Mad Updated !!
I have Download And UPDATED my axim this morning ...

I still have Error Messages...

"Logon To MSN Messenger Service Failed Because The Password
is incorrect or the logon name does not exist. Enter the correct Username and password and try again. If the problem Continues,Contact MSN"

I can Login Using Normal Messenger On Laptop... But not on My PPC !!! ?

Did Anyone Encounter this too ???

Please Give Feed Back ...

i managed to run the program now .. . after some hard reset and soft reset... just dun know what cause it .....

I shut down the messenger program on my axim. Then i did the upgrade with my axim on the cradle. I took it off the cradle, did a soft reset and then i could log onto messenger.

this is what i do at first... i still cannot login to msn with error msgs... thats why i do hard reset...
my ppc is just 2 days old...
i have x5 adv / wm2003 /
rom : A05

now i can read chinese, japanese and thai on my ppc..and it works on both pocket ie and msn messenger...

There is definatly a problem with the update. I have the same problem. Nothing makes any differance. Resets ect

There is a number of theads on this subject, it does seem that there is a problem with the update. Perhapes we can pool our resouses to try and solve it ? Merge the treads ?
