How does syncing the Axim work? (how do you get files to and from it) Do you use a desktop software like you do in Palms? Or do you just access the memory as another drive?

AS runs on the PC and detects the presence of the PPC. When connected it will automagically transfer information from your desktop Outlook (you can control what is transferred with fairly decent granularity) to your PPC..

Once your PPC is connected via AS it will ALSO show up under My Computer and lyou can browse it that way.

You can sync with IrDA, the cradle, cable, ethernet, wifi or bluetooth.

I haven't had too many problems with it. Some but it works 98% of the time.
