Why Freezes up, what can I do about it?

I've had my Axim since the beginnning of 03, it starting to freeze up now a few times per day. When I use my stylus to click on something, such as a date on the calendar, the pop up keyboard will pop up instead. It only leads me to do a soft reset... can anyone help me out?

It could be a software conflict.

I would:
Start removing the last few applications installed (in reverse order, ie remove the most recently installed application first) and see if that makes a difference.

If not, backup and hard reset. Once you hard reset don't restore, just see if you can recreate the problems. If you STILL have problems after a hard reset with no other software installed then it's a hardware problem, send it back. If you don't have the problem then you can either restore you backup (which may well restore the problem) or install your applications one by one.

You've had it since the start of the year and have not installed ANY other programs!! Wow. Well good luck. It'll be a fast process if you need to reinstall everything :)

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe your Axim wants some new toys. :D

I would recommend trying a hard reset. If that doesn't work, call Dell.
